Try before you buy: nothing is capped for your first 30 days, longer than the 14 days the law gives you to withdraw from a purchase. At checkout you agree to get your key straight away, which ends that right, so a purchase is final and there are no refunds.

Prices include VAT where it applies. A business in another EU country with a valid VAT number pays the same price, with the VAT reverse-charged. One payment lifts every cap for as long as you own the key, on two devices at once. No subscription, nothing to renew. The key moves between machines: deactivate it on one, activate it on the next.

Every install starts with 30 days of Pro to try everything before you buy. After that, Splicer stays free to use: each export runs up to 5 minutes and carries a small Splicer wordmark, and nothing made during the trial is ever locked. Pro lifts the 5-minute limit and lets you turn the small Splicer mark off. One payment covers every future release, and support for as long as it's available. Enter your key by clicking the badge on the desk's nameplate, with k in the terminal workspace, or with splicer license --activate, then paste it. Questions and help by email or on Discord.

The trial counts down on the desk's nameplate.

Or sponsor @gmrdad82 on GitHub. A one-time GitHub sponsorship of $20 or more, the $20 tier or any amount you choose, comes with one Pro key. Monthly sponsorships, and one-time ones under $20, are a thank-you and come with no key. Claim yours at license.pitomd.com/sponsors.

Your videos, transcripts and cuts stay on your own machine.

The speech engine and its model come inside Splicer, so nothing downloads after install. Splicer talks to PITO MD's servers only to anchor the free trial, verify your key and, if Splicer crashed and you agree, to send that crash report.

The footage of you mispronouncing a town's name lives exactly where you left it.

After a crash, Splicer asks once whether to send the report; nothing goes without a yes.

For the trial, Splicer sends three things: the app's id (splicer), a device hash and the time it first started. No files, no footage, no transcript, no key. The hash is a SHA-256 of a fixed salt, the app's id and your system's machine id: 64 hex characters, never the machine id itself, not linkable from one app to another, and not your key's activation id. It goes once per install, again if its small signed ticket is lost, and at every start while Splicer is online, to refresh that ticket, never on a timer. The ticket means a clock set back or deleted files can't give trial days back. It runs in the background and never holds Splicer up; offline, nothing is sent and Splicer works the same. License, PITO MD's key server, keeps only the hash and the earliest start for each app. Your IP address only keys Cloudflare's rate-limit counter for 60 seconds and is stored and logged nowhere. Your key goes to License only when you activate or deactivate it.
